I overheard Mrs. McBrayer telling a student to blog about their interest so here it goes:

1-I find it interesting that you’re reading this probably because I said it’s not interesting. How ironic.

2-The first thing that pops in my mind is Chick-Fil-A. I could live off of that place.

3-Trevor. My four year old brother. UGH I love him so much!!!!!

4-M&M’s. This may be a simple candy, but it’s my favorite.

5-A good book. I love love reading, IF the book is intriguing. Bad books make me want to barf.

6-Dancing. I dance at SDC and have been for 6 years. I love it.

7-Lunch. I love lunch (best part of the day) and it’s time for that right now, so see ya!

 

I had a very fun winter break. On Monday, my family and I went to the Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus in ATL. (Philips Arena.) I’m probably too old for the circus, but I had a blast because my four year old brother, Trevor, makes anything fun for me.

On Tuesday we spent spent the day in Newnan, where my grandparents live.

And on Wednesday, we did nothing. Literally nothing. We sat at home all day and dreaded school starting the next day.

So, I take back what I said. My first two days of break were fun, but Wednesday was awful. ;(

This past Friday our speaker was Ms. Dawn Goodwin. She has a career in writing. She shared about how her career started and how it became successful. She prepared a presentation for us which was filled with pictures and videos that inspired her. It was very interesting; I really enjoyed it! She even read us a chapter in her book which is called Until He Comes. I can’t wait for more Future Fridays. 🙂

Future Fridays are so much fun here at BMS! This is where a guest speaker comes to our classroom and tells us about his/her career. It can really benefit your future because it gives you a ton of information about all the jobs that are out there!

This past Friday, our speaker was Rick Swales. He works for the Coweta County Fire Department. His presentation was awesome! He had a slideshow filled with pictures and videos, and he even brought his uniform! (He said it weighs about seventy pounds!)

I look forward to Future Fridays every week. 🙂

I choose Education and Training as my #1 career cluster. I would love to be a teacher when I grow up! Hospitality and Tourism career cluster is my Plan B, and the Finance career cluster is my Plan C.
